

Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the Head Coach of the men’s basketball program
Serve as an extension of the head coach to various areas within the athletics department, Vanderbilt University, and to external outlets
Oversee all events as hosted by the Head Coach
Oversee all aspects of travel for Head Coach, including planning, itinerary, logistics, and any alterations prior to or during travel
Coordinate speaking engagements for the Head Coach, acting as a liaison to compliance to ensure that all activities are within NCAA and SEC regulations
Advise Head Coach on matters regarding personnel, office issues, organizational items, etc. and recommend solutions and changes to implement
Attend and participate in meetings on behalf of the Head Coach as assigned
Represent the men’s basketball program and Vanderbilt Athletic Department in a professional manner at all times
Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Head Coach
Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations
Education and Certifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
Experience and Skills
Prior relevant experience is necessary.
Prior college basketball experience is necessary.
Extreme organizational skills are necessary.
Strong follow through on tasks & projects is necessary.
