One Piece Card Operator
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: St Petersburg, FL
Position Summary
The One Piece Card Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining one-piece packaging equipment to meet production, quality, and safety standards. This role requires hands-on machine operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to work orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate one-piece card machinery for production runs
- Verify correct materials (cards, blisters, labels, packaging components) are used
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality and compliance
- Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to resolve mechanical or process issues
- Monitor machine performance to maintain output and minimize downtime
- Complete required documentation (QC checks, production logs, time sheets)
- Inspect materials prior to production to prevent defects
- Move finished goods to designated release areas
- Support continuous improvement programs (5S, GMP, ISO, SMED, preventive maintenance)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- 6+ months manufacturing experience
- Machine operation or packaging equipment experience

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise (hearing protection required)
- Exposure to industrial chemicals
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Lift up to 50 lbs (team lift above 50 lbs); repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs
- Ability to move skids up to 2,500 lbs using powered equipment
- Required PPE (safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.)

- Meet production output and efficiency targets
- Maintain quality standards and low defect rates
- Minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting
- Follow all safety and GMP requirements
