R+L Carriers is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist Lead to support Corporate & Regional Security. The position is located in Wilmington, Ohio. Qualified applicants will be responsible for supporting company investigations. Investigate Requests, Claims, and Shortages, incident response and security assessments. They will assist the Loss Prevention Specialist Manager. They will utilize the latest network security technology to respond to potential threats and assist our investigations team as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assists in supervising a team of Loss Prevention Specialists in their daily responsibilities
Investigate/resolve security incidents, requests, claims, and shortages
Analyze data to prevent losses
Assign/analyze Claims to Loss Prevention Specialists.
Assign request in Case Management and monitor team progress when the Loss Prevention Specialist Manager is out of the office
Utilize the Video Management System and the Access Control System to assist in company investigations
Utilize the Case Management System to input security events as needed
Assist with the development of processes and procedures to improve incident response times, analysis of incidents, and overall investigations
Maintains training materials and assists with the proper training of staff
Assist in any other tasks requested by the Loss Prevention Specialist Manager, Senior Security Manager, Security Director, or Vice President Brand & Business Resilience
Requirements:
Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to self-start, prioritize and multi-task
Possess a comprehensive understanding of Windows, Microsoft outlook, Microsoft excel and Microsoft word
Preferred:
1 year of experience in investigations
Familiarity with VMS, Access control and Case Management systems
Leadership experience
