

The Center for the Study of Ethnicity, Race and Immigration (CSERI) will award undergraduate research fellowships for projects completed during the 2020-2021 academic year. This CFA is a rolling submission - there is no deadline.
Students may receive grants for up to $1,000 of research expenses. CSERI research support may be combined with funding from other programs.
Funding can be applied toward one of two goals:
Funding for travel to research sites is currently prohibited per Penn restrictions.
All grant recipients must be prepared to present their completed research at an undergraduate seminar or poster presentation hosted by CSERI.

Partnership with Latin American and Latino Studies: Students conducting projects in the social sciences on race, ethnicity, and immigration in Latin America and/or Latino politics in the United States can also apply and receive additional advisory support from the Latin America and Latino Studies program. All full-time Penn undergraduate students enrolled in any school who wish to undertake research in the social sciences relating to race, ethnicity or immigration in the United States or in other countries are eligible to apply.
