

The Music Department of The College of Wooster invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Music Theory: a one-year visiting position with possibility of renewal to begin in August, 2018. The successful candidate should be able to teach undergraduate written theory and aural skills at all levels. Strong keyboard and aural skills are essential.
Prior college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred, as is a doctorate or ABD in Theory or Composition by job start date.
A complete application will include: letter of application, statement of teaching philosophy, curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts, and three confidential letters of recommendation. Additional evidence of research and teaching interests (including course evaluations) is welcome.
