This fully remote role (Washington residents only) offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic physicians billing team while leveraging your advanced knowledge of payer guidelines, denial management, and revenue cycle operations. You’ll play a critical role in resolving high-level claim issues and minimizing delays.

Senior Claims Specialist follows up on insurance denials and aged claims, submit claims to secondary payers, and ensure accurate billing information is submitted. Answer all information requests from those payers and trace all claims to those payers making sure they have been paid or denied appropriately in a timely manner. Re-submit claims to government agencies, medical service bureaus, and insurance companies. Submit claims appeals with supporting documentation as necessary and resolve aged insurance balances. Act as resource for billing office staff.
