Ashoka University has recently launched its Natural Sciences program with Chemistry being taught in a seamless manner integrating with other natural science subjects of Physics, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science. Thus, chemistry curriculum is based on concepts and insights which will connect with natural sciences as a whole.

Ashoka is planning to recruit Chemistry faculty, who is at ease to teach basic concepts of any subarea of chemistry and wanting to pursue research of high quality in pure or applied chemistry. Excellent candidates carrying out research in all subareas of chemistry will be considered. All faculty at Ashoka are expected to teach as well as pursue high-quality research. State-of-the-art research facilities and generous seed money would be made available for all faculty based on projects. In addition, Ashoka University encourages faculty to obtain external grants for their research.

Applications are invited for Assistant, Associate and full Professor Level and the number chosen in each will be flexible and based on the excellence. Candidates must possess PhD degree and preferably post-doctoral experience of 2 years for Assistant Professor Level. Meritorious candidates with suitable experience will be considered at Associate Professor and full Professor Level.
