Job Summary:
Performs a variety of research, data base and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature in support of the research team to ensure adherence to protocols and quality of information received. Acts as a recognized technical subject matter expert in own and possibly related discipline(s). Has substantial understanding of techniques, processes, procedures to perform the job and seeks to complete tasks in creative and effective ways. Runs program(s) with moderate budget/impact.

Education and Work Experience:
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' related experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Maintains and updates demographics on computer data base; log forms received and file as appropriate; prepare reports from data base to include weekly reports and other reports as requested.
- Receives and disseminates study-related regulatory documents and correspondence. Assists in screening documents for completeness and compliance with protocol and appropriate regulations. Assists in investigating incomplete, inaccurate or missing documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Assists in maintaining communications to provide information, track documentation and overall progress adherence to established guidelines. Ensures that study materials are shipped and re-supplied as requested. Responds to routine questions related to study protocol and refer more complex questions to others as appropriate. Documents all conversations in the database.
- Communicates regularly with regional data monitors as needed to provide information before and after visits. Reviews the monitor's post visit reports and follow up on problems identified as appropriate.
- Communicates and coordinates with other personnel as required to include data entry and randomization personnel, pharmacy, laboratories, sponsors and others as needed for implementation and routine problem resolution.
