MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Analyst, Cybersecurity to join our team in Springfield, VA. This role is 100% on-site.
The Business Analyst, Cybersecurity is a subject matter expert and program leader responsible for analyzing organizational needs, managing complex initiatives, and driving significant improvements across the enterprise. This role blends hands-on analytical and staff support functions with strategic leadership to enhance business processes, ensure compliance, and guide programs within a specialized domain. Operating with increasing autonomy, the analyst will manage tasks ranging from policy development and IT audit support to leading major process re-engineering projects. This position requires deep expertise to manage projects, advise leadership, mentor team members, and ensure the successful alignment of programs with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Research and synthesize data from diverse sources to develop high-level reports, briefings, and actionable strategic recommendations for senior executive leadership.
Lead business process re-engineering initiatives, applying advanced metrics and performance measures to optimize organizational workflows and track mission success.
Draft, coordinate, and review organizational policies and strategic guidance to ensure all directorate activities align with agency goals and performance assessments.
Serve as a primary Action Officer managing the end-to-end lifecycle of critical initiatives, from resource planning and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) maintenance to final delivery.
Provide deep subject matter expertise in technical domains, including Records & Information Management (RIM), IT/Cybersecurity strategy, Enterprise Architecture, and Risk Management.
Support IT audit activities (e.g., FISMA) by reviewing evidence and tracking findings, while providing leadership for Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Facilitate high-level engagements across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense to manage requirements, de-conflict issues, and build consensus on strategic initiatives.
Direct and mentor multi-disciplinary teams to achieve performance goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and providing clear strategic direction for complex projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience demonstrated in a relevant functional or cross-functional business area
Bachelor’s degree in a business, management, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience.
Demonstrated expertise in project management, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma), and leadership.
Proficiency in specialized tools such as MS Visio, MS Project, or JIRA.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
