MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented End User Device Technician Site Lead to join our team located in our OCONUS area (Australia).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serves as the operational Team Lead of two, with the potential for the team to increase to a total of 3 or 4 individuals with direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Serves as primary point of contact for all customer-facing issues, updates and collaborations
- Provides installation/troubleshooting support to VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, network switches, other hardware devices as requested, completes associated cabling work and trains others to do the same.
- Supports refresh, modernization, projects, and STO activities as required and reports statuses to program and customer leadership teams.
- Travels to support other locations within the region as needed - 30+% of the time.
- Follows proper processes of equipment classification and sanitization.
- Conducts equipment surveys, inventories, completes database updates, and assists with logistical services for associated equipment.
- Coordinate the arrivals of logistical shipments (receiving) and sending logistical shipments back to program HQs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT hardware support on a Managed Service contract
- Experience with installation/troubleshooting of end user devices such as VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices and completion of associated cabling work and training others to do the same.
- Experience supporting CAN networking requirements.
- Customer facing experience
- Experience with the SNOW system.
- Quality cabling skills in installation, splicing, and fabrication.
- Possess an IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M such as Security +
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting encryption devices and Call Manager
- Have team lead (L1) experience such as, approving time off, approving time cards, approving travel, annual evaluations, etc.

- Must have a TS/SCI w/ Poly
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position to operate a computer.
- Common tasks often require reaching to plug in cables behind the desk, under the desk, or into wall outlets. Bending, stooping, and kneeling may be necessary to position equipment correctly, manage wiring, run cables, connect power strips, or access ports that are not easily reachable from a standing or sitting position.
- The individual must be able to safely climb and work on a ladder to access equipment or wiring in elevated positions, such as running cables through ceiling conduits.
