

Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Consultant to join our market-leading Environment and Infrastructure team, working on some of the UK’s most high-profile and impactful development projects.
From day one, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of consultancy services, developing both technical expertise and client-facing skills in a varied role where no two days are the same. You could be supporting complex environmental assessments and producing high-quality reports, undertaking on-site baseline surveys such as air quality monitoring, or collecting and interpreting data to understand local health and socio-economic conditions.
You will also carry out modelling assessments across areas such as carbon emissions, climate risk, air quality and public health, contribute to sustainability and climate strategies, and support client engagement through virtual and face-to-face meetings. In addition, you will assist with proposal writing and costings, providing valuable commercial insight early in your career.
This role offers excellent breadth of experience, giving you a holistic understanding of the business while developing skills in environmental impact assessment, air quality, climate and human health. You will gain hands-on experience working on major development programmes that support the UK’s transition to net zero, including infrastructure, new towns, water resources and logistics.
Our highly regarded training and development programme is designed to help you reach your full potential. You will receive structured training across environmental assessment and management, including monitoring, modelling, data analysis and statistics, while developing the key consultancy skill of translating client needs into effective, compliant assessment approaches.

Team Overview

Savills Environment and Infrastructure is a department in the Planning Division that is focused on managing environmental impacts and sustainability for major development projects, providing a range of specialist consultancy services. We have a strong focus on the UK’s infrastructure – such as energy and carbon capture projects to deliver net zero, among many others – but work on projects of all types and scales. Our goal is to shape projects, ensure environmental protection and betterment, and support our clients to get vital infrastructure approved and built. We do this through a high standard of environmental and social expertise, a thorough understanding of consents and regulation, and an appetite to rapidly understand the details of our clients’ projects and businesses.
Our network of offices covers all regions of the UK, including rapid growth in Brighton as well as our team’s presence in London and Wimborne. As part of our environmental capability, we are seeking to further expand our environmental and consents management (including EIA coordination), air quality, climate change, and health/social impact teams under the respective team leaders, with a desire to expand the team in the Wimborne office.
