Maritime Logistics Driver Portugal | Lisbon
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Maritime Logistics Driver to join our logistics operations team in Lisbon.
This is a dynamic and hands-on role involving transportation, delivery coordination, and operational support within the maritime sector. You will work closely with ports, vessels, airports, and internal teams to ensure that goods and spare parts are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
About the role
Reporting to the Maritime Logistics Manager Iberia, you will be responsible for handling deliveries and collections related to vessel operations across different ports and logistics locations.
This role is mainly operational and field-based, requiring flexibility, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly.
Key responsibilities
• Coordinate and perform deliveries and collections between airports, ports, vessels, and other operational locations
• Ensure shipments are delivered on time, with the correct documentation and in proper condition
• Access vessels for delivery and collection of spare parts, equipment, and documents
• Review and verify shipping and dangerous goods documentation
• Support customs and logistics documentation processes when required
• Coordinate loading and unloading activities, ensuring safe handling of goods
• Maintain accurate shipment records, delivery confirmations, and vehicle logs
• Communicate effectively with port authorities, agents, warehouse teams, and vessel crews
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety procedures, and company standards
• Support general operational and administrative activities when needed
What we are looking for
• Valid driving licence
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Responsible, proactive, and hands-on attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
• Organized profile with attention to detail
• Flexibility to work mainly in external operational environments
• Availability for flexible schedules, including at least one weekend per month
• Previous experience in logistics, transport, maritime operations, or similar roles is highly valued
• Knowledge of dangerous goods or customs documentation is considered a plus
