KEY RESPONSIBILITIES(主要职责)
1. Provide day‑to‑day legal and compliance advice to the business on anti‑bribery, competition law, anti‑unfair competition, and related PRC regulatory matters.
2. Advise on data privacy and personal information protection matters, including lawful use, sharing, and protection of data in business, marketing, and third‑party engagements.
3. Review marketing and MA initiatives, promotional activities, HCP/HCO/GO engagements, and sponsorships to ensure compliance with embecta policies and legal requirements.
4. Provide support for the third-party due diligence activities and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
5. Partner with Global Compliance to support implementation of corporate compliance policies, standards and initiatives.
6. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including sales and service contracts, consultancy agreements, procurement contracts, tender documentation, and NDAs.
7. Chair the China Compliance Committee and support development and delivery of compliance training to promote compliance awareness and operational excellence.
8. Perform additional duties as required to support legal, compliance, and business initiatives.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES(技能)
1. A curious, proactive and autonomous mindset with strong ownership approach; ability to think outside of the box and to find pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
2. The ability to be able to work under pressure in a professional way and with a commitment to being a team-player.
3. The ability to be hands on when needed and roll up your sleeves and navigate between day to day tasks and key strategic projects and topics.
4. 6-9 years of legal and compliance experience, including at least 3 years in a leading domestic or international law firm.
5. With PRC Bar qualification and law degree from a reputable law school.
