The Reserve Bank’s Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) is a centralised function that is responsible for providing effective governance over the Bank’s strategic investment portfolio.
Our objectives are to strengthen project management practices, provide assurance and oversight across the Bank’s portfolio and guide improved project governance and delivery. We support the evaluation, prioritisation, and ongoing monitoring of the Bank’s project portfolio. We also provide advice and support to the Investment Committee.
In this position you will provide project control and assurance support ensuring consistent application of the policies, principles, practices and Ways of Working for change initiatives across the project portfolio.
Your Responsibilities
Provide assurance against projects and ensure they are adhering to the Governance and Delivery standards and progressing in alignment with the direction agreed with EPMO & other support partners
Assist with improvements to the Governance and Delivery standards eg Project Management Framework and associated collateral.
Assist with the PM Community of Practice as required.
Other duties as required.
Your Background
Demonstrated experience in project assurance across Waterfall and Agile projects.
Proven experience within EPMO, PMO functions, or project delivery roles.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels - particularly with Project Managers.
Solid understanding of the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.
Relevant qualifications, or equivalent industry experience, in PMBOK and Agile methodologies are highly desirable.
