The Product Owner (PO) develops and drives the overall product vision and strategy. The PO may work with multiple agile teams to deliver on the product vision. The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring that the product is built with the end customer in mind. The Product owner must have or develop a deep understanding of the target market / industry / customer base, build close relationships with key stakeholders, and define the roadmap for the product.
Core Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements that address business needs.
- Assist product team in creating, maintaing and prioritizing product backlog to align with business and product goals.
- Help define clear user stories and acceptance criteria to support development work.
- Participate in sprint planning activities, support task prioritization and track progress during sprint cycles.
- Collaborate with QA teams to support acceptance criteria development, testing activities, and validation of completed features.
- Identify potential risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvement, and support communication between business and product team.
- Collect and review stakeholder feedback through product demonstrations to help inform of potential product enhancements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centric approach in product development.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and review completed work to confirm it meets the defined acceptance criteria.
Required Education/Experience- Bachelor's Degree and two years of related work experience. or
- Associate's Degree and four years of related work experience.
Relevant Work Experience- Proven ability to adapt quickly and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, required.
- Demonstrated experience as a self-starter, with a willingness to learn, and a strong ability to creatively solve problems, required.
- Demonstrated experience driving ideas from conception to realized results, required.
- Willingness to learn and adopt project management tools, including Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps, required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and lead meetings with product teams, stakeholders, and end users to gather feedback, required.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, required.
- Demonstrated experience with Power Platform (i.e Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.), preferred.
- Experience with business process modeling, preferred.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies, preferred.
- Experience within Electric Operations through prior work experience or use of applications such as WMS or CRMS, preferred.

Additional Physical Demands- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
