Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Urban Systems Institute (Ref: 536271) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)Applicants should possess a good university degree preferably in Geoscience/AI/Urban Systems/Urban Studies, and a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the higher education sector or a related field. Expertise and professional/research experience in Geoscience/AI/Urban Systems/Urban Studies are desirable. Strong administration and communication skills are essential for this role. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese). They should also have good organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask. Applicants should also possess an outgoing personality with attention to details and be self-motivated to work independently. Applicants should also possess hands-on experience in marketing and media design. Experience in event management, finance management, and/or research administration would be an advantage.
