Senior Manager Advanced Analytics - Data Science and AI

Your Impact

 

You will shape how data, analytics and AI create value across Asahi. You will define and execute an enterprise‑wide strategy spanning advanced analytics, data science, AI and GenAI, ensuring alignment with business priorities, technology direction and long‑term value creation. Working in close partnership with senior and executive leaders, you will translate complex analytical and AI concepts into clear, actionable insights that drive stronger decision‑making and commercial outcomes. 

 

Leading the AI Centre of Excellence, you will embed data science as a core organisational capability—enabling advanced modelling, experimentation and data‑driven decision‑making at scale. You will establish strong governance and responsible AI practices, while building a high‑performing, collaborative culture that delivers ethical, secure and scalable AI solutions supporting Asahi’s growth, reputation and sustainability ambitions. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

• Define and deliver Asahi’s enterprise strategy and multi‑year roadmap for analytics, data science, AI and GenAI 

• Lead the AI Centre of Excellence, setting standards and scalable delivery models 

• Oversee delivery of high‑impact analytics, AI/ML and GenAI solutions 

• Partner with senior leaders to shape and prioritise value‑led use cases 

• Establish and embed governance, responsible AI, risk and compliance frameworks 

• Build, lead and develop high‑performing multidisciplinary teams and partners 

• Uplift enterprise capability through enablement, tooling and operating‑model integration 

• Manage strategic technology and delivery partners to maximise outcomes 

 

About You 

 

• Extensive experience in data science, AI/ML or advanced analytics leadership roles 

• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale AI and GenAI initiatives 

• Strong executive stakeholder management  with experience influencing senior leadership teams 

• Deep expertise across AI/ML, GenAI, cloud platforms (Azure strong preference) and modern data tools 

• Experience working with SAP and Service Now highly desired  

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and building Centres of Excellence 

• Strong business acumen with a focus on measurable value and outcomes 

• Passion for ethical, responsible and secure data and AI practices 

• FMCG or complex, fast‑paced industry experience highly desirable
