We’re seeking a driven, people-first Solar Area Sales Manager who thrives in the field, builds strong customer relationships, and is passionate about clean energy. This full-time, field-based role includes local travel throughout the NC/SC region and offers the opportunity to grow with a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Requirements
- Build strong customer relationships and close high-quality solar sales
- Partner with an Inside Sales team that helps generate and schedule appointments for Area Sales Managers, allowing you to focus on selling and customer experience
- Analyze homeowners’ energy usage and educate customers on the financial benefits and long-term ROI of solar
- Create customized solar proposals and pricing solutions tailored to customer needs
- Manage and grow your pipeline using CRM tools and consistent follow-up strategies
- Drive deals forward through excellent communication, responsiveness, and relationship-building
- Consistently meet and exceed sales goals while maximizing earning potential
- Generate referral and repeat business by delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
What You Bring
- 2+ years of sales experience (solar or construction preferred)
- CRM experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation
