Job Summary
The Trade Compliance Analyst will be part of NetApp’s Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team, supporting export, import, and operational compliance activities across APAC. This role contributes to the execution and continuous improvement of NetApp’s GTC program, with a strong focus on Singapore regulatory requirements, including Bulk Permit management and renewals.
The Analyst will support compliance activities across global regimes (U.S., APAC, and other international frameworks), working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. This role requires active participation beyond regional scope, contributing to global GTC initiatives, process improvements, and risk mitigation efforts.
Job Requirements

- Strong working knowledge of global trade compliance topics, including HS classification, ECCN, country of origin, valuation, and export licensing.
- Experience with customs operations and broker management, preferably in Singapore/APAC.
- Ability to respond to customs and regulatory queries with clear, defensible positions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally.
- High integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive compliance matters.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trade compliance (customs and export controls).
- Technical expertise in areas including, but not limited to: Incoterms, classification, licensing, valuation, country of origin and entry documents.
- Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export control law.
- Experience in a large, global technology companies preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and trade compliance tools is an advantage.
