About the team and product:
Testing Services is a specialized team within the Capital Markets group. We are the proud owners of a proprietary test automation tool, developed and maintained by our team in Belgrade. We have built a specialized solution on top of the Robot Framework, which is primarily implemented using Python libraries, managed through our Test Manager web application, running on a .NET/IIS infrastructure.
With our tool, users can:
- Manage and optimize test coverage.
- Build and maintain test cases.
- Schedule test program execution.
- Access results, dashboards, and time-series analytics.
- Track and manage issue resolution.
As a Junior Consultant, you will support senior team members in delivering high quality testing services and gaining hands-on experience with our automation platform.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Junior Consultant, your responsibilities will focus on learning, supporting senior colleagues, and developing foundational consulting and technical skills. You will:
- Assist senior consultants in gathering and understanding client requirements.
- Support the creation and maintenance of automated test cases under guidance.
- Help prepare documentation, reports, and training materials.
- Contribute to test execution, issue tracking, and results review.
- Participate in internal knowledge sharing and training sessions.
- Collaborate with the team to learn best practices in test automation and financial software delivery.
- Engage with clients in a limited, supervised capacity as you build confidence and experience.
This role is designed to help you grow toward full consultant autonomy while working within a state-of-the-art test automation environment.
What You Bring
- Foundational understanding or strong interest in Capital Markets and financial instruments such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, or FX/MM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- Exposure to or willingness to learn Python for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team.
- Ability to follow structured guidance while progressively becoming more independent.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Bonus If You Have
- Basic familiarity with software testing (manual or automated).
- Exposure to any testing framework (Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
- Experience with financial software, university projects, or internships related to finance or testing.
