With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.
The Opportunity
As a Customer Quality Engineer at Allegro MicroSystems, you will serve as the primary "Voice of Quality" for our key automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across the region. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence and safety. This is a high-impact, proactive role where you will manage the end-to-end problem-solving process, drive customer satisfaction, and represent Allegro’s technical leadership in quality management.
What You Will Do

Lead cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints within defined cycle time targets. Utilize advanced quality tools including 8D methodology, 5-Why analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
Prepare and present comprehensive 8D corrective action reports, clearly communicating root cause analysis and technical solutions for IC and sensor failure modes.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal global teams, including Product Quality (PQE), Failure Analysis (FA), Design Engineering, and our global production sites.
Participate in customer audits of Allegro facilities and processes. Ensure all products and processes comply with legal standards and customer-specific requirements.
Apply statistical methods and math abilities to review product specifications and monitor raw material compliance from suppliers.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in semiconductor engineering, with specific exposure to wafer fabrication, IC testing, or assembly processes.
In-depth understanding of quality control procedures. Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or VDA 6.3 is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of ISO 26262 (ASIL) standards is a significant advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Outlook). Strong data analysis and statistical mindset.
