Freight Billing Specialist, you will be part of a team of five people working in a Load Control Centre (50+). You will be responsible for managing the billing process for freight invoices related to transport in INET. This will be during a time of significant growth and expansion.
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Process high-volume transport orders — validating data in INET without errors; fix system errors daily
Own the E-invoicing process including tracking, third-party testing, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure compliance
Process Claim Invoice Liability Letters (damaged goods and customer disputes) to mitigate financial loss
Manage direct vendor communication—carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers—maintaining productive relationships
Support onboarding and integration of new countries into the freight billing process
Confirm Goods Receipts in SAP (via COUPA); check and approve invoices regarding prices and volumes; archive per legal requirements
Manage the shared Freight Billing mailbox; respond to queries from carriers and internal colleagues
Serve as backup during the Master Data team handover and INET transition
Qualifications
Min. 2 years' experience in finance, AP, logistics, or transport operations
University education in economics or related field
SAP R/3 & Microsoft Office Advanced (Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
Fluent English
INET experience preferred
Attention to detail, visual controls of documents, larger excel files handling
Strong communication, accuracy, team orientation, ability to work under pressure
