Job Description

Purpose

Technology Architect - Expert responsible for Cloud security architecture, posture management, identity and access, workload protection, governance, and compliance.
This position defines and implements security controls, guardrails, and operating models for cloud and hybrid environments. This role combines architecture, engineering, and governance responsibilities across identity and access, network security, data protection, workload security, security monitoring, and compliance. The role is expected to embed security into platform engineering and delivery processes while acting as a senior technical authority for cloud security topics.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Design and implement cloud security controls for identity, privileged access, networking, encryption, secrets, and workload protection.
• Establish posture management, vulnerability remediation, and preventive guardrails across cloud platforms and services.
• Integrate security into CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering workflows.
• Define monitoring, alerting, and response patterns for cloud security events in partnership with platform and security operations teams.
• Support compliance and audit requirements through enforceable technical controls, standards, and evidence-friendly processes.
• Review architectures, mentor engineers, and provide senior technical leadership for cloud security decisions and risk reduction.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Have strong hands-on experience in cloud security engineering across identity, network security, data protection, and workload security.
• Have experience with security posture management, threat protection, vulnerability management, and remediation workflows.
• Have strong understanding of cloud governance, policy controls, and compliance-oriented technical design.
• Experience partnering with architects, developers, platform teams, and security operations on shared security outcomes.
• Are able to translate risk and compliance needs into pragmatic engineering standards and scalable controls.

Preferred background:

• Experience across more than one cloud platform or in hybrid-cloud environments.
• Exposure to container security, policy as code, CNAPP/CSPM, and security automation.
• Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSP, or CISSP.

Common engagement expectations:

• Ability to work in cross-functional delivery settings and guide technical teams without heavy supervision.
• Clear documentation style and confidence in governance, architecture review, and remediation planning forums.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2200€ /brutto.
