Job Description:
The enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) ensures quality execution of the largest and most complex initiatives. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for partnering with executive stakeholders, driving accountability, reducing risks and delivering on a variety of projects that align with Dimensional’s strategic priorities.

What you might work on:
The Project Manager will plan and manage medium and large projects from initial conception through transition to operations. Projects range from new product introduction, large business process improvements, technology changes, regulatory and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with multiple departments on distinct initiatives focused on delivering new business value to the organization.
- Be focused on delivering and optimizing organizational value with consistent results.
- Create, manage, and measure project plans that include scope deliverable definitions, resources estimations, change management, resource and funding requirements, development and implementation schedules, internal and external communication activities, training and quality assurance.
- Be responsible for project practices appropriate for the size, complexity, and team styles while ensuring consistency with company strategy, culture, and goals.
- Find creative and effective ways to move projects forward without compromising on value, culture, or team dynamics.
- Motivate and focus cross-functional teams in a shared resource environment on common project goals.
- Lead teams to achieve consensus and commitment as well as complete tasks and deliver results as planned.
- Identifies risks early and often with risk mitigation strategies being proactive with solutions.
- Lead teams through the vendor / solution selection process. Manage vendor relationships and provide budget to actual reporting.
- Be responsible for many projects at once.
- Utilize tools and systems to keep project artifacts current and detailed.
Qualifications:
- Experienced (5+ years) project management professional with proven track record of successful project delivery and providing strong organizational value.
- A strong communicator that can facilitate difficult conversations, present succinctly and clearly, and ensures project status is communicated to all relevant stakeholders at the appropriate level. Ability to break down complex ideas into simple explanations.
- Experience in project and program management; project planning, business process development, change, risk and communication management, technical planning, vendor management, and budget/resource management.
- Is a self-motivated, eager listener, and avid learner.
- Proven with partnering and communicating with business sponsors, vendors, engineering, operations, and all other team members effectively and efficiently.
- Project coordination or scrum master skills that can drive the tactical activities on a steady or improving level of velocity.
- Understands and can articulate the bigger picture yet works at the detailed level on schedules, budgets, action items, scrum practices, and status reporting.
- Knows how to motivate and respectfully influence others.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Competencies:
- PMP certification preferred as well as knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (Scrum) and/or Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies.
- Financial Industry experience preferred.
