In this role, you will own and transform the consumer experience for seekers and private listers into a decisive competitive advantage for SMG Real Estate, driving demand liquidity, conversion quality, and long-term marketplace trust.
You will work at the intersection of product management, growth, and marketplace economics, with a clear mandate: to turn fragmented consumer journeys into a cohesive, data-driven system of action that materially improves both user outcomes and business performance.
This is one of the most impactful product leadership roles in European real estate marketplaces, with direct influence on demand-side strategy and company growth.

You have a strong product leadership background and know how to build, scale, and improve consumer-facing digital products. You are comfortable turning strategy into clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and effective execution across teams.
Ideally, you bring:
Experience and background
You have around 8-12+ years of experience in Product Management, including meaningful leadership responsibility. You have successfully owned and scaled digital products, preferably in marketplaces, classifieds, platforms, or other consumer-facing businesses.
A degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is helpful, but not a must. We also value candidates with non-traditional, interdisciplinary, or hands-on product backgrounds.
Product and business skills
You bring strong product judgment and know how to focus on what truly matters for users and the business. You understand consumer behavior, funnels, growth mechanics, and how to use data to make better product decisions.
You are able to work at both strategic and executional levels; from shaping product direction to ensuring high-quality delivery. You are confident defining metrics, interpreting signals, and translating insights into action.
Ways of working
You have experience working in complex, cross-functional environments and are skilled at aligning stakeholders across product, engineering, design, business, and senior leadership. You are comfortable challenging assumptions, creating clarity, and bringing people with you.
You bring a high ownership mindset, a bias for action, and a strong sense of accountability.
Tools, AI, and language skills
You are familiar with modern product, analytics, and experimentation tools. You also understand how AI can be applied practically in product development, personalization, and internal efficiency with a focus on real value rather than hype.
Fluency in English is required, as it is our business language. German is a plus, but not required.
