Bilingual Operations Assistant / Parent Liaison (2026–2027 School Year)
Position Overview
The Bilingual Operations Assistant / Parent Liaison serves as a key connection between the school, families, and the operations team. This individual supports daily school operations while fostering strong communication and engagement with families whose primary language is not English. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, culturally responsive, and committed to providing exceptional support to students, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Family & Community Engagement
- Serve as a primary bilingual point of contact for families and guardians
- Translate verbal and written communication between the school and families as needed
- Assist families with enrollment, registration, transportation, attendance, and school-related concerns
- Support parent outreach initiatives, school events, family workshops, and conferences
- Maintain positive relationships with families to encourage engagement and communication
Operations & Administrative Support
- Assist with daily front office and operational tasks
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate student and family records
- Support attendance tracking and documentation processes
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing school documents
- Coordinate communication between school leadership, staff, and families
Student & School Support
- Support a safe, welcoming, and organized school environment
- Assist students and families with navigating school procedures and expectations
- Help ensure compliance with school policies and operational procedures
- Support school-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Fluency in English and Spanish required (spoken and written)
- Prior experience in school operations, administration, customer service, or family engagement preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and general office systems
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced school environment

Work Schedule
