The Primary role of Human Resources (People) Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and implement solutions that enhance HR efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
This role focuses on technical execution — rebuilding datasets and visuals, translating data into DAX/Power Query, applying existing RLS/security, optimizing performance, and producing concise documentation.
This position sits at the intersection of People Analytics and HR Technology, turning complex data and manual workflows into scalable, automated, and actionable insights.

This role plays a key part in modernizing People data infrastructure that enhances HR efficiency and experience across the enterprise.
Data Visualization, Reporting & Insights
Rebuild existing Tableau dashboards in Power BI, ensuring transparent logic mapping and calculation parity.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive, high-performance Power BI dashboards with clear storytelling and usability.
Optimize models and queries for performance (relationships, query folding, measure hygiene).
Apply provided Row-Level Security (RLS) and publish to designated workspaces following naming, templating, and folder standards.
Produce handover documentation per asset (sources, assumptions, refresh behavior, known limitations).
Maintain consistent data visualization standards and ensure reports are intuitive and self-explanatory.
Perform ad-hoc parity checks and clarify metric definitions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Maintain a measure/calculation catalog documenting how KPIs were translated from Tableau to Power BI.
Track migration throughput and surface blockers or rework trends proactively.
Governance, Security & Data Quality
Follow established data governance, privacy, and security guidelines.
Apply provided access controls, masking rules, and refresh schedules in compliance with policy.
Execute UAT checklists and data-quality validations; log and resolve issues systematically.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Advanced Microsoft Power BI: data modeling basics, DAX, Power Query, performance tuning, publishing, and workspace management.
Intermediate Tableau: ability to read and translate legacy logic/workbooks into Power BI accurately.
Strong attention to detail and clear documentation (handover notes, measure catalogs, parity checklists).
Professional English; ability to work independently with global teams and align via short check-ins.
Preferred:
Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, or R for light troubleshooting or enhancements.
Exposure to HR metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards (helpful but not essential).
Awareness of Microsoft/Azure administration (workspaces, gateways, permissions).
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and lightweight QA (UAT checklists, RLS testing).
Exposure to HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
