You support the execution of software tests for embedded and system-related software and help ensure stable and reliable system behavior.
You assist in working with test benches and test rigs, supporting their setup, operation and daily usage as part of the testing activities.
You support testing activities directly on ECUs, help validate basic functional behavior and assist in documenting test results in a structured way.
You work with test benches and HiL environments and learn how structured tests are prepared, executed and evaluated.
You support wiring and cabling tasks by carefully connecting ECUs, test benches and peripherals and ensuring clean and well-documented setups.
You assist with flashing and updating ECUs and learn how software versions and configurations are handled in test environments.
You work with tools such as ODIS, iDEX and CP‑Tool to support diagnostic, configuration and testing activities.
You support the analysis of communication and data flows using tools such as Wireshark, guided by experienced team members.
You mainly execute manual tests and gradually gain insight into automated testing approaches.
You document test results and findings carefully and communicate them clearly within the team.
You collaborate closely with developers and other teams and learn how defects are described, tracked and resolved.
You contribute ideas and observations from your daily work to help continuously improve test processes and methods.
You are currently enrolled in a degree program in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable technical field and are completing a mandatory internship as part of your studies.
You have a strong interest in software testing, system testing and technical systems and are motivated to gain hands-on experience in this area.
Ideally, you have gained first practical exposure to testing or technical environments through university projects, internships or student jobs – this is a plus, but not a must.
You are interested in working with ECUs, test benches and system-related hardware and enjoy learning by doing.
You may already have basic knowledge of tools such as ODIS, iDEX, CP‑Tool or Wireshark, or you are eager to build up this knowledge during your internship.
You work carefully, reliably and with a strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with hardware, wiring and test setups.
You enjoy structured work and are willing to follow defined test processes and quality standards.
You are motivated to learn, show initiative and actively ask questions when something is unclear.
You communicate openly and clearly and enjoy working together in a collaborative team environment.
