JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary
Supervises activities related to the company's Supply Chain project buyers which are focused on supporting project teams including sourcing, procurement, negotiation, contracting, expediting and order management activities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach and mentor team of Supply Chain professionals to ensure continuous development, accountability, value creation and best in class performance
- Oversight team's goals that support the strategic direction of the company
- Implement and monitor performance goals and objectives. Work with direct reports to set goals, measure results, and ensure that targets are achieved
- Support fit for purpose work standards across team and ensure standards are upheld
- Support and initiate development of policy recommendations and implement procedures consistent with established strategies
- Identify opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and potentially lead implementation of key initiatives
- Provide guidance, training and/or coaching to execute purposeful Supply Chain practices including:
- Performing fit for purpose sourcing and negotiations
- Managing stakeholder groups
- Aligning supply chain activities to meet project schedule needs
- Evaluating risks
- Oversee high value/high priority sourcing and/or negotiation events and analysis
- Identify key stakeholders, develop relationships that drive alignment with performance plans and ensure expectations and service levels are met
- Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, accountability, transparency, integrity, and unwavering customer service
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a closely related discipline or related formal education and the following job-related experience:
Work Experience
- 5-7 years of Supply Chain, Operations, Project or other relevant functional experience preferred
- 3 years prior supervisory experience preferred
- Experience mentoring and training

- Knowledge of: supply chain best practices and applications
- Knowledge of: Microsoft Office applications

Expected Salary Range
$106,000.00 - $160,000.00
