Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with new vendor account set up in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required documentation
- Serve as point of contact for vendor inquiries and respond in a timely, professional manner
- Perform vendor account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain and update vendors master data, ensuring proper controls and data integrity
- Work with Art Partners to verify vendor information and resolve issues
- Assist with Fixed Asset Tagging
- Support Fixed Asset inventory tracking
- Support month-end close activities related to vendor accounts and asset tracking
- Assist with audit preparation by providing vendor and fixed asset documentation
- Crosstrain in cash management functions, including cash receipts and reconciliation processes
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred
- Strong communication skills for handling vendor interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
