As our innovative business continues to grow rapidly, we are seeking a Sanitation Worker at our Richmond location. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment across office, washroom, and warehouse areas.
Position: Full Time, Permanent
Wage: $22/hr (paid on a weekly basis!)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collecting garbage, cardboard, and meat, from all totes and bins within the warehouse and processing areas, and transfer to the main bins outside of the building.
Sweeping the floors within the warehouse daily.
Washing various areas of the warehouse.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to operate a pallet jack and/or forklift is an asset.
Previous sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.
Capable of lifting 40-50 lbs.
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, in English.
Comfortable working in a cooler/freezer environment.
Accountable, dependable, and self-motivated.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, challenging environment.
Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.
