As the Site Security Facilitator (SSF), you will serve as the onsite subject matter expert responsible for the integration of personnel, technology, and processes to mitigate risk. You will ensure the site operates in strict alignment with international compliance standards including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC Type 2. Following a "Defense in Depth" strategy, you will manage real-time emergency solutions, conduct rigorous audits, and oversee the protection of high-value assets and sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
1. Access Control & Identity Management
Administer the site’s electronic access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel have access to specific security zones.
Manage the full lifecycle of security credentials, including "Day 1" activations and immediate revocation of access for separations or contract terminations.
Conduct regular audits of physical access logs, visitor management systems, and key control protocols to ensure zero-gap compliance.
2. Surveillance & Technical Security Systems
Oversee the operational readiness of VSS, ACS and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
Coordinate the maintenance and testing of security hardware, ensuring that all perimeter and critical area monitoring meets global resolution and retention standards.
Conduct monthly functional testing of all alarm points and technical security controls.
3. Risk Management & Emergency Response
Perform site-specific threat and risk-based assessments (TRAs) and vulnerability exercises.
Lead the site’s incident response efforts, providing real-time solutions during emergencies, natural disasters, or security breaches.
Conduct comprehensive investigations into security incidents, preparing evidence-based reports for internal stakeholders and compliance auditors.
4. Personnel Leadership & Training
Direct and coordinate the onsite security guard force, ensuring adherence to Post Orders and Professional Standards (ASIS/IFPO).
Deliver security awareness briefings for new hires and conduct specialized training for emergency evacuation wardens.
Perform regular "Clear Desk" and "Security Zone" inspections to ensure the protection of sensitive client data on the production floor.
5. Compliance & Certification Support
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for Information Security and Compliance audits.
Maintain a "Ready-to-Audit" state by organizing security logs, testing documentation, and risk mitigation plans required for HIPAA, HITRUST, and ISO certifications.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in military, law enforcement, or corporate private security. Experience in a BPO or high-volume processing environment is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Integrated Avigilon Security Systems (Access Control, VSS, and Intrusion Alarms). High level of comfort with G Suite and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
Communication: Communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to interface with all levels of leadership and external clients.
Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies based on evidence and data.
Soft Skills: High situational awareness, professional discipline, and a strong sense of urgency in high-pressure situations.
Education & Professional Certifications
Education: High school diploma required; University degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
Professional Certifications: Possession of (or the ability to obtain) ASIS PSP or IFPO CPO/CSSM certifications is highly desirable.
Work Schedule & Travel
Location: Primary work location is our Barranquilla site.
Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support 24/7 operations and respond to onsite emergencies if they arise.
