Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum
- Create a fun, safe, and nurturing Preschool/Pre-K classroom environment
- Encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and kindergarten readiness
- Build strong relationships with families through positive and professional communication
- Share daily updates, developmental progress, and classroom highlights
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and developmental milestones
- Maintain health and safety standards and ensure active supervision during all activities
- Work closely with Assistant Teachers and support staff to create a positive and collaborative classroom culture
- Model positive behavior guidance and social-emotional learning strategies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continue growing as an educator
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- CDA preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool preferred
- Completion of state-required pre-service training
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and team members
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Compensation: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
