The Quality Control Auditing Agent and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining compliance and assists in the self-audit procedures and safety management procedures as outlined by the UGE and United Airlines safety and compliance programs.
The position requires the applicant to be detailed oriented, highly organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as relates to internal and external customers and employees. The CC will conduct investigations for audits and any customer complaints. The investigation will include research in multiple UGE computer systems (AvTech, SHARES, SharePoint). The candidate should be able to decipher and translate code from the systems and prioritize the status and compile a written report to be submitted to management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing Quality Control Audits of services performed.
- Creation and oversight of Airport emergency response and location safety plans
- Location safety advocate
- Assistance with badging and other administrative functions
- Training instructor led courses for specialized functions.
- Ensuring training compliance for web-based training
- Update safety board and prepare safety briefings.
- Maintain all frontline functions and be prepared to provide support to the operation if needed.
- Support the Safety and Compliance team on site with any meetings or safety fairs.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
- Timely and efficient delivery of supplies from central bulk storage facility to smaller storage spaces within the terminal
- Analyze reports and deliver key trends and escalate issues appropriately.
- Takes initiative in identifying creative ways to approach existing processes.
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications and Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or preferred
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data.
- Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities including, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces.
- Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
- Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need.
