Waterpark Bag Check Attendant

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Bag Check Attendant. In this role, you will provide a genuine smile and friendly, responsive service to guests to help create a beyond expectation experience for guests coming and going from the indoor and outdoor waterpark. Bag Check associates will ensure guests are not bringing in prohibited items to any of the parks for the sake of safety; items include outside food and beverage, glass containers (including coffee mugs), and weapons.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct swift, thorough inspections of guest bags, coolers, strollers, and personal items according to resort safety standards
• Identify and enforce rules regarding prohibited items, including glass, weapons, outside food and beverage, and unsealed or filled water bottles
• Confirm that each guest has a properly colored wristband for waterpark access
• Direct guests without valid wristbands to the waterpark front desk for assistance

 

What We’re Looking For

•  Able to greet guests warmly and maintain a friendly, calm demeanor during busy periods
• Comfortable explaining bag‑check policies clearly and respectfully
• Capable of de‑escalating minor frustrations or misunderstandings
• Maintains awareness of surroundings and guest flow
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bag‑inspection motions
