As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for 3 motivated individuals to join our dynamic Hygiene Team in West Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in occupational hygiene who enjoy variety in their daily work, value continuous learning, and thrive on engaging with diverse range of stakeholders.
The successful candidates will play an integral role in delivering occupational hygiene services across a diverse range of industries, including mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, and government sectors. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of hygiene monitoring programs, while building strong client relationships and further developing your technical and consulting expertise.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct occupational hygiene monitoring (e.g., dust, fibre, noise) across client sites
• Execute fieldwork using specialised equipment (up to 20kg)
• Assist with technical report writing and data analysis
• Support knowledge sharing across the team, mentoring junior employees when required
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Seek opportunities for ongoing learning and development
• Follow and contribute to the improvement of internal policies and procedures
About you
We’re looking for professionals who are eager to learn, to take ownership of their work, and contribute to a high-performing team. You will have a developing technical understanding of occupational hygiene, along with a professional attitude and proactive approach to your work.
You will bring
Essential:
• LGIRS (formerly DEMIRS) Registered Sampler Number
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of occupational hygiene sampling techniques
• Experience managing time, workload, and competing priorities
Desirable:
• Surface Ventilation Officer qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field
• Noise Officer certification
• Certificate IV in Project Management
• Provisional AIOH Membership
• Working towards postgraduate studies in occupational hygiene
