As a Functional Analyst, you’re the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. You apply an expert understanding of business processes and system functionalities to define and document functional requirements, translating complex business needs into clear specifications. You tackle complex functional challenges, ensuring optimal alignment between technical solutions and business objectives, while actively contributing to the successful delivery and ongoing optimization of systems.
Operate within a complex environment characterized by high business criticality, buy/build decisions, a challenging tech stack, and a high volume of integrations.
Collect and define business requirements, negotiate and resolve conflicting needs, and ensure alignment with strategic goals by translating business needs into clear, accurate, and transformative user stories.
Manage and optimize your own backlog for features or defined product areas, prioritizing intricate user stories and leading comprehensive testing to maximize business value.
Create and analyze complex process models to identify bottlenecks and propose high-impact optimization solutions.
Produce high-quality documentation for diverse audiences and confidently present findings and recommendations while handling internal divergent interests effectively.
Design and execute comprehensive testing plans and provide expert guidance on quality assurance.
Design efficient, scalable, and complex database schemas, providing expert guidance on data management and mastering DB queries to guide others.
Manage and drive aspects of complex IT projects or significant modules, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high quality standards.
Collaborate with offshore resources and actively manage relationships with external partners such as Oracle Support.
Serve as a vital link, seamlessly coordinating efforts and workflows across project teams, AMS teams, and E2E squads.
A strong background working within large ERP ecosystems, preferably with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud, including specific expertise in PIM and OIC.
At least two years of experience in a similar role, such as functional analysis or business process management.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent by experience).
Prior experience with Oracle Fusion or a solid understanding of Procurement, Supplier Management, and Contract Management processes is a significant advantage.
Demonstrated experience in Oracle configuration, comprehensive database management, and maintaining thorough technical documentation.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A team player who thrives in collaborative environments, bringing strong communication skills and a commitment to transparency.
Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and comfortable adapting to iterative processes within cross-functional teams.
A positive attitude and the ability to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
