Preferred Experience: • Previous Oil and Gas or Mining Industry Experience • Remote locations requiring FIFO experience • Hydraulic Systems • Top Drive Experience • Power Systems • Diagnostics • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning • Electrical Schematics • Isolation and Testing • Computer literate with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook To be successful you will possess: • a minimum of 2 years’ previous position experience in a heavy industrial or resources industry. • Trade Certificate & Electrical License • Electrical License for QLD desirable • Hazardous Area Electrical Training • Low Voltage Rescue • Current, unrestricted Manual Driver's License (essential) • Provide First Aid and CPR • Working at Heights • Wellsite Permit to Work Rev 3 Training • Operate Vehicles in the Field 4 x 4 Training • Confined Space Training • Breathing Apparatus Training • Gas Test Atmospheres Training In return for your skills, experience, and knowledge we will offer successful candidates the following: • Immediate Full-time employment Opportunities • 3/3 week even-time roster FIFO / DIDO Roster • Crew Change Travel Support • Increase, Competitive Industry daily rig and training rates • Increased focus on employee development and training for career path progression • Expanded services through Employee Assistance Program • Referral Program Incentives Successful applicants must be willing to undertake functional medical testing to ensure they can meet the physical demands of the Rig Electrician position.
