The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the detailed design of PLC-based control systems, power electronics design, simulation, and analysis of electromagnetic components. The responsibilities will also include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the development of user test programs towards improving performance and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and document electrical control cabinets—ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
Integrate Siemens PLCs into control cabinet designs.
Develop and manage electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and commissioning teams from concept to installation.
Responsible for electrical component selection and supporting lifecycle management activities.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and HMH quality guidelines.
Participate in FAT/SAT, testing, and customer acceptance as needed.
Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continual improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Controls Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum 2 years of relevant technical level experience
Experience in electrical cabinet design
Familiarity with control system design and electrical components selection
Familiarity with controls power distribution and networking technology
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Ability to create technical report, specifications and interact with internal and external customers
