The Opportunity SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative orthopedic trauma program in Mesa, Arizona. This position supports a high-acuity trauma center and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a well-supported, hospital-based environment.

Schedule

• 183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts)
• Blocked scheduling with 7 day stretches
• Built-in recovery time between rotations

Job Duties – What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage at a high-volume trauma center
• Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries
• Collaborate with trauma, ICU, and emergency medicine teams
• Balance operative cases with inpatient care and follow-up clinic responsibilities

Requirements – What We Look for in You

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma
• Experience managing high-acuity trauma cases, including pelvic and acetabular fractures preferred
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
