

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety-related disorders across the lifespan, including among youth. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Licensure to deliver psychotherapy in PA and license eligibility in NJ is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include supervision and didactics for psychiatry residents, postdoctoral fellows, psychology interns, and psychology externs in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety-related disorders across the lifespan. In addition, the ideal candidate will teach workshops to community clinicians on CBT for anxiety across the lifespan with some specialized content for treating youth.
Clinical responsibilities may include provision of CBT for anxiety-related disorders in children, adolescents, and adults as well as conducting diagnostic intake evaluations across the lifespan.
