How you’ll make an impact
You will prepare project financial plans for the project and ensure alignment with execution plans.
You will ensure structure and maintenance of projects in the financial system in accordance with contractual requirements. Prepares financial status reports, including project costs, cashflows and full cost model. Together with the project manager is accountable for preparing for regular project reviews and monitors cost control, cash flow, revenues, profit, gross margin, opportunities, and cost variances. Manages invoicing, back-charging, currency hedging, bonds, guarantees, and tax matters for the assigned projects with support from relevant departments and specialists.
You will be responsible for accurate reporting of the project balance sheet and income statement and update into controlling tools also drive and seek optimization of project cash flow, revenues, and gross margin contribution in collaboration with the Project Manager. Promote commercial awareness in the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan
You will establish project governance processes and ensure compliance with corporation, BU and local standards, internal control, regulations, and policies. Follows up internal audit reports and ensures timely implementation of required actions. Implements and executes internal controls and related coordination tasks.
You will participate in opportunity and risk identification on the project level, support the Project Manager in quantifying risks, and monitor timely implementation of mitigation actions and support LSU Controller on business controlling activities and various ad-hoc projects and initiatives on continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a bachelor’s degree.
Required with 3-7 years of experience in business or financial controlling; project controlling experience preferred.
Proactive, logical, and result-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of finance & accounting under IFRS and JP GAAP.
Flexible, with a learning attitude; able to work in a dynamic, international environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
Solid numerical analysis skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience working with ERP systems, SAP experience strongly preferred.
Experience utilizing digitalization tools (such as Power BI) for data analysis and reporting is a plus.
Business Level English and Japanese.
