As a Systems Engineer, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within our project lifecycle. You will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of requirements engineering and system design, serving as the bridge between stakeholder needs and technical execution. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex dependencies, lead diverse teams of engineers, and maintain the highest standards of system integrity and risk management.
Lead Requirements Engineering: Drive the elicitation, analysis, and validation of requirements for complex systems, ensuring consistency across all levels (PRQ, TRQ, USP) while supporting hardware and software colleagues in defining use cases and constraints.
Manage Requirements Lifecycle: Take accountability for documentation, tracing, and change management within professional tools to ensure milestone documentation and traceability are maintained throughout the project.
Drive System Design & Scope: Oversee the Requirements Change Board and Scope Board, lead impact analyses for change proposals, and manage external partners by creating specifications and reviewing work results.
Execute Product Risk Management: Act as a Risk Manager or core team member to drive risk assessments, manage the Risk Management Plan, and ensure all mQMS deliverables are met.
Oversee Configuration Management: Partner with Configuration Managers to identify and classify configuration items, maintain physical instrument configuration history, and track baselines.
Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with HW Engineering, SW Engineering, Operations, and Customer Support to review system models and ensure integrated system concepts.
Advance Capability Development: Identify process improvement areas for requirements management, ensure the application of best practices, and uphold department and divisional standards.
Expert in Requirements Engineering: You possess deep knowledge in managing complex system requirements, including visualization, peer reviews, and the use of industry-standard management tools.
Strategic Risk & Configuration Leader: You have a proven track record in driving product risk assessments and managing configuration baselines within a structured quality management system.
Collaborative Technical Leader: You are an adept communicator capable of supervising other engineers and managing relationships between stakeholders and project teams to ensure testability and alignment.
Process-Oriented Professional: You are committed to implementing divisional standards, applying change control processes, and escalating deviations to ensure continuous improvement.
Multidisciplinary Integrator: You have the experience necessary to work across functions, integrating inputs from various engineering disciplines to create cohesive system models.
