The Neurophysiology group within the Research and Development organization at our Waltham R&D Site is searching for an experienced neurobiologist with a deep passion for understanding neural circuit functions in the normal and diseased brain. Individuals with extensive in vivo electrophysiology/ physiology experience and interest in connecting circuit- and behavioral-level findings to translational biomarkers are encouraged to apply. The candidate is expected to perform a wide range of discovery neuroscience activities. These include designing and executing rodent behavioral studies, electroencephalography (EEG), and in vivo single unit recordings in freely behaving rodents to probe the neural circuit basis of psychiatric disorders and evaluate the effects of novel therapeutics. In addition, collaborate with cross‑functional partners to identify and validate novel drug targets and advance drug discovery programs. Collectively, these efforts directly support the advancement of mechanism‑based therapeutics and the translation of preclinical insights into clinical impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $116,000 - $137,000. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance pay bonus.
