JOB SUMMARY:

Manufacture standard production and customized aircraft furniture.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for leading, guiding, and directing other employees on Furniture Building needs

• Responsible for training new and current team members on processes and procedures 

• Instruct and direct workflow of furniture builders to meet production schedule.

• Write and understand QN process when needed.    

• Uphold mentoring and leadership qualities in the department.  

• Responsible for own work and overseeing/approving work of others in furniture build.

EDUCATION:

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification, and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of related experience in assembly and/or composite.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids.  Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
