JOB SUMMARY:
Manufacture standard production and customized aircraft furniture.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for leading, guiding, and directing other employees on Furniture Building needs
Responsible for training new and current team members on processes and procedures
Instruct and direct workflow of furniture builders to meet production schedule.
Write and understand QN process when needed.
Uphold mentoring and leadership qualities in the department.
Responsible for own work and overseeing/approving work of others in furniture build.
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification, and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of related experience in assembly and/or composite.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
