CAE Engineer - pedestrian passive safety

For our client we are looking for a skilled CAE Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and verification of advanced vehicle safety solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety.

• Conduct and support CEA and physical verification activities.

• Perform interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U requirements.

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations.

• Work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups.

• Analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development process.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related field.

• Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis (FMVSS201U).

• At least 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA.

• Good CAD knowledge and ability to work with vehicle geometry/models.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
