Schedules often include regular work in the evenings, overnight and on weekends.
In this role you will sometimes deal Poker and sometimes you will be supervising Poker. Previous experience is required professionally dealing Poker in a casino.
Supervises the operation in the Poker Room on an assigned shift while placing special emphasis on guest service, enhancing the guest experience, and engaging in service recovery. Monitors employee performance, ensuring adherence to various regulations and Company policy; issues or recommends discipline or recognition and Total Return awards as appropriate. Perpetuates employee motivation utilizing positive recognition and corrective coaching. In addition, ensures game integrity and provides security of departmental assets
Lead, coach, and evaluate assigned personnel to ensure compliance with regulations, company policies, and performance standards; provide recognition, corrective feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as needed.
Oversee daily operations of games, including staff assignments, game integrity, and adherence to house rules; maintain key security and monitor for unusual activity.
Handle guest interactions by resolving disputes, promoting loyalty programs, and ensuring exceptional service; model and champion company service standards.
Manage administrative tasks such as performance reviews, hiring recommendations, and accurate maintenance of game inventories and player ratings.
Ensure compliance with Title 31/BSA and underage gaming regulations; verify financial transactions (fill slips, credit slips, markers) and maintain accurate records.
Support property initiatives, attend mandatory meetings, and enforce company policies while addressing operational issues independently.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Must be 21years of age
Must be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming License and pass a background check
2–5 years of casino experience required, preferably in pit operations.
Knowledge of multiple Poker games and casino rules, regulations, and procedures related to pit operations preferred.
Strong leadership, customer relations, and communication skills.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Flexible to work any day of the week and any shift.
Ability to work well with others and function as part of a team.
Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
Work inside and continuously maneuver around assigned tables in the Table Games Pit area throughout the shift, with regular breaks.
Respond calmly and handle customer demands in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Enhance guest experiences through professional interaction and service.
Respond effectively to visual and auditory cues.
Memorize game rules and procedures.
Quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations to determine winners and losers.
Accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of shift.
Maintain excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect games.
Read, verify, and sign game-related documents in a confined area.
Tolerate exposure to second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
Maintain regular attendance in the work environment.
Knowledgeable in use of a computer and data entry
