We are seeking a skilled Datacenter Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support mission-critical datacenter infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems, networks, and hardware within the datacenter environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support day-to-day datacenter operations, ensuring uptime and reliability of infrastructure services.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices within the datacenter.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve issues and bottlenecks.
- Support network infrastructure including routing, switching, and firewall configurations in collaboration with network teams.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, replacement, and lifecycle management of datacenter equipment.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies, standards, and best practices within the datacenter environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support and maintenance.
- Participate in on-call rotations and handle critical incidents as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience in datacenter or enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure technologies.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
- CCNP certification required; CCIE certification is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in critical situations.
- Strong ownership and accountability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
- Understanding of Linux/Windows server environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments.
