Job Description:
The Contract Management Associate supports the day-to-day administration of the contract management function within Firm Risk Management. This role assists with contract lifecycle activities, maintains accurate documentation, and supports compliance with firm policies and procedures. The Associate works collaboratively with Quality & Risk Management, Legal, partners, and business unit leadership to help ensure contracts are processed efficiently and accurately. They may also assist in the delivery of training to business unit personnel on contract management workflows and technology tools.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities; the successful candidate must be able to quickly assess and triage incoming contracts, adapt to changing timelines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
This role is designed for an early-career professional who has developed foundational knowledge in contract management, business operations, and professional services practices and would like to expand on that knowledge. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, accountability, and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Support the administration of contract lifecycle processes, including document preparation, tracking, routing, and record maintenance.
Prioritize and respond to a high volume of incoming contract requests, escalating issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation in contract management systems and shared repositories.
Assist with data entry, reporting, and updates within contract management systems (e.g., Icertis) to help ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Quality & Risk Management, and business unit personnel, to support contract processing activities.
Monitor contract intake and workflow activities to support timely execution and delivery.
Assist in preparing contract-related reports and maintaining up-to-date records and documentation.
Assist management with other contract-related activities as requested.
Support team process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and workflow consistency.
Participate in training and learning opportunities related to contract management processes, systems, and business operations.
Communicate professionally and provide timely updates regarding assigned tasks and contract activities.
Organize and prioritize assigned work to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience in contract administration, legal support, business operations, or a related professional services environment preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective English written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and follow established processes and procedures.
Willingness to learn contract management systems and business processes.
Should be comfortable to work 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM (IST) timings.
Preferred (Not Required)
Exposure to contract management systems or workflow tools.
Understanding of professional services business practices.
Experience supporting administrative processes or operational workflows.
Interest in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
