JOB SUMMARY:
- The Salesforce Technical Lead / Architect will drive end-to-end solution architecture, delivery excellence, and innovation across the Salesforce ecosystem. This role is responsible for leading functional and technical workshops, translating business requirements into scalable, secure architectures, and defining solution blueprints across Sales, Service, Experience, and Industry Clouds.
- The candidate will design robust data models, user journeys, and integration patterns while leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern UI practices to deliver high-quality, performant solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- In addition, the role requires awareness of emerging Salesforce capabilities such as Data Cloud and Agentforce, enabling intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solution Architecture: Define scalable and secure architecture solutions across Salesforce clouds, aligning with enterprise architecture standards.
- Workshops & Requirement Translation: Lead business and technical workshops; translate requirements into technical design and architecture artifacts.
- Technical Design: Design data models, system integrations, and user journeys ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Development Leadership: Provide hands-on guidance in Apex, LWC, integrations, and modern UI frameworks.
- Integration Strategy: Define and implement integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and external systems.
- Data Cloud Enablement: Support data ingestion, harmonization, and unified customer view strategies using Salesforce Data Cloud concepts.
- AI & Automation Enablement: Contribute to use cases leveraging Agentforce capabilities such as AI agents, copilots, and workflow automation.
- Governance & Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and architecture governance.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions.
- Delivery Excellence: Ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce programs with proactive risk management.
- Team Leadership: Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and guide teams on best practices and design patterns.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Expertise: Strong experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Industry Clouds.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce platform development
- Strong expertise in integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures)
- Experience in data modeling and system design
- Data & AI Exposure (Preferred):
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (data ingestion, harmonization, unified profiles)
- Exposure to Agentforce capabilities (AI agents, copilots, workflow automation) will be preferred
- Certifications (Mandatory):
- Platform Developer II
- At least two Salesforce Cloud Consultant certifications
- System Architect and/or Application Architect
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Data Cloud Certification
- AI-related Salesforce certifications
- Leadership Skills: Strong mentoring, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to engage senior leadership
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve complex enterprise challenges
EXPERIENCE:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce architecture and development
- Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce transformations
